Job Description
The Specialist, Crew Accommodations serves as a subject matter expert for Federal, State and Local accommodation laws, as well as the Company’s accommodation program. The Specialist, Crew Accommodations is also responsible for assisting with: (1) the interactive process and logistics related to accommodations requested by Crewmembers, and (2) ensuring the accommodation processes for Crewmembers are administered in compliance with Federal, State and Local laws as well as the Company’s accommodations programs.
Your Impact & Responsibilities
- Complies with and serves as a subject matter expert for Federal, State and Local accommodation laws as well as the Company’s accommodation programs
- Conducts the interactive process for all Crewmember accommodation requests and makes recommendations and decisions on what accommodations are granted to our Crewmembers
- Partners closely with Legal, Operations and Crew Safety on accommodations cases
- Communicates agreed upon accommodations to Crewmembers and Managers
- Responds to Crew and Manager accommodation inquiries through Accommodations inbox
- Tracks and manages all accommodation requests through EthicsPoint
- Prepares and distributes regular reporting on accommodation cases
- Will continue to evolve Raising Cane’s accommodation programs and processes
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years of prior Accommodations, Employee Relations or similar work experience, in a fast paced work environment
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required)
- Able to handle highly confidential information and maintain strict confidentiality in a time-sensitive manner
- Exceptional people and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
- Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to leverage and influence others, build, lead and motivate teams, and coach at any level
- Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
- Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Word
