Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and dynamic **Restaurant Manager** to join our team in Norman, United States. As a Restaurant Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our restaurant's daily operations, ensuring we consistently deliver exceptional service and maintain the highest standards of quality and cleanliness. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team, inspire excellence, and create memorable experiences for our customers while managing all operational aspects of the restaurant.

  • Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures
  • Act as the manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant with accountability for all operational tasks
  • Lead, motivate, and develop team members through coaching, feedback, and recognition programs that foster a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Manage cash handling, reconciliation, and financial accountability with precision and transparency
  • Execute shift management while maintaining operational excellence and safety standards across all restaurant zones
  • Direct and supervise crew members during shifts, providing clear guidance and support to optimize performance
  • Deliver exemplary customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Ensure the restaurant facility is clean, well-maintained, and in good working order; identify and address maintenance issues promptly
  • Manage staffing and scheduling to meet operational needs while considering team member preferences and availability
  • Analyze operational metrics and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval, including discounts, promotions, and timekeeping adjustments
  • Maintain inventory levels and manage vendor relationships to optimize cost efficiency without compromising quality
  • Complete required company training programs and stay current with industry best practices and health and safety regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals and team success

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and professionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and ability to quickly learn new technology platforms
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, sanitation standards, and health regulations
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost control, and cash handling
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for training and work-related functions
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding environment, including standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with inventory management and vendor relationship management
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution and employee relations best practices
  • Certification in food safety or hospitality management
  • Experience in a fast-casual or quick-service restaurant environment
  • Demonstrated track record of improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction metrics
