Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hourly Restaurant Manager to join our team for a new restaurant opening in Southaven, United States. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of launching a new location and shaping its success from the ground up.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Implement and maintain food safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with local regulations
- Manage inventory, place orders, and control costs to maximize profitability
- Create staff schedules, monitor labor costs, and ensure appropriate staffing levels
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently
- Assist in recruiting, training, and developing new team members
- Monitor and analyze sales data, making strategic decisions to improve performance
- Collaborate with upper management on marketing initiatives and promotional activities
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and brand standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- Proven track record of leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating exceptional dining experiences
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and other restaurant management software
- Excellent financial acumen, including experience in budgeting and cost control
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory and optimize supply chain processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, effective decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Current Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe) or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Knowledge of local food service regulations and health codes
- Experience in opening new restaurant locations is highly desirable
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
