Your Role at Raising Cane’s:
The Restaurant Excellence Manager is responsible for the testing, piloting, and quality assurance of new program implementations, and updates to existing programs. As a Raising Cane’s operations expert, this role assesses the bandwidth and capacity of field management, sharing evaluations of operational readiness for growth, change, and additional activities beyond direct operations. This role is an advocate for successful resource management, expanding current operations management capabilities to manage RSO programs effectively, while also serving as a gatekeeper to ensure the efficient use and maximize the value of limited labor resources.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
• Ensures documentation is completed before program roll outs to restaurants and aligns program execution timing with critical stakeholders
• Collaborates with all departments to develop readiness and field capacity documentation.
• Acts as a liaison for field operations to ensure all “RSO-to-Restaurant” programs are successfully implemented and executed
• Develops relationships with operators to foster two-way communication, creating an environment where operators provide honest and actionable feedback
• Utilizes all company communication channels and mediums effectively to ensure all team members receive critical information and direction in a timely and comprehensive manner
• Serves as a collaborative repository for all programs, preventing surprise initiatives
• Stays current with trends across multiple industries with respect to project management, resource capacity, and field-testing protocols
• Maintains operational competency by staying connected to the day-to-day activities of our restaurant operators
• Collaborates with the Training team to support corporate learning objectives associated with program implementation that impacts restaurant operations
• Provides ongoing coaching and consultation with multi-unit and restaurant-level operators to enhance their readiness for change and growth
Requirements for Success:
• For external hires: Minimum of 12 months of multi-unit management with a proven record of success, preferably in the fast food or casual dining industry
• For internal promotions: Minimum of 12 months as a Restaurant Leader/Restaurant Partner with Raising Cane’s and must be in good company standing with a proven record of performance
• Experience in an organization with specific career progression
• Knowledge of the QSR/Fast Casual industry and the necessary business acumen for running a complete business unit (Risk, Training, Facilities, etc.)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
• Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, time management, and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
