Your Role at Raising Cane’s:
The Regional Director of Real Estate will manage a team to perform and execute all tasks and projects assigned by the VP of Real Estate in a timely and efficient manner. This role will accomplish the acquisition of locations for the development of financially successful new Raising Cane’s restaurants in accordance with the schedule dictated by the company’s annual growth plan.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:
• Manages regional development pipeline and maintains processes for ensuring the new sites pipeline will meet company and team objectives for approval and opening targets
• Develops and maintains a regional network of highly qualified real estate brokers in all existing markets and markets designated for future expansion
• Develops strategies for market penetration for all existing regional markets and for markets designated for future expansion
• Works with Real Estate Managers to prepare and present new restaurant site recommendation packages to the Real Estate Committee (REC)
• Develops reporting for sites identified through REC, which will include critical dates to drive projects from preliminary approval to REC in a timely manner
• Maintains and continually upgrades the company’s standard form site acquisition contracts, which includes letters of intent (LOI), leases, and purchase agreements
• Reviews and recommends approval for regional real estate acquisition documents, which includes purchase contracts, leases, amendments, and other lease related documents
• Prepares monthly approval and opening plans for region targets
• Standardizes and continuously improves trade area, site selection criteria, sales forecasting, and sales transfer models
• Collaborates with the Finance Department to create and update methods for analyzing the sales performance of new restaurants
• Assists the marketing department in identifying sales generators for marketing opportunities
• Maintains a membership in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and represents the company at selected ICSC functions

Requirements for Success:
• 10+ years Restaurant Real and real estate-related experience
• 5+ years of Real Estate Team Member management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required (Business, Real Estate, Development)
• Dallas area based (will work out of Restaurant Support Office located in Plano, TX)
• 25 % Travel (sometimes more depending on construction activities)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Proficient, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint
