Job Description

Your Role at Raising Cane’s: The Compensation Analyst supports the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs for restaurant crewmembers, including base pay, incentives, one-time payments, and relocation. They will conduct wage recommendations, data audits, market analyses, and job evaluations, while providing strategic insights and recommendations to leadership to ensure equity, compliance, and competitiveness across the organization.

 

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strategic analysis on recommendations to hiring managers and leadership on compensation decisions, including pay structures, incentives, job offers, and wage and hour regulations
  • Build and maintain advanced Excel models and reports to support data-driven decision making
  • Lead the administration of the Hourly Manager Merit Cycle in Workday on a monthly basis
  • Support the Salaried Manager Annual Compensation Process and ad-hoc market evaluations for restaurant roles
  • Conduct regular audits on restaurant compensation data in Workday to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Ensure compensation practices comply with local, state, and federal labor laws, uphold pay equity standards, and align with company policies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of compensation ranges for audits, reviews, and compliance purposes

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in Compensation
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field such as Human Resources, Economics, Finance, or Data Analytics
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, including the ability to build, maintain, and utilize high-level models, and to manipulate large data sets into a clear and digestible format
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, with preference for Workday
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex compensation concepts to leaders
  • Ability to deliver results under heavy pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in compensation within a QSR brand or hourly, broad-based compensation
  • Compensation certification such as CCP or Data Analytics certification
  • Familiarity with Workday's Advanced Compensation module and merit processes
