Job Description
The Brand Activations Manager leads the execution of brand activations and consumer-facing events that drive engagement and build brand awareness. This role understands how activations contribute to sales and marketing goals, advance company initiatives, and deliver premium, memorable experiences. The Manager partners cross-functionally and externally to ensure activations are thoughtfully planned, flawlessly executed, and effectively recapped.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Manage the execution of brand activations and marketing events to meet brand, marketing, and business objectives
- Develop and present thoughtful activation proposals, outlining opportunities, brand integrations, and key considerations
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and secure talent, sponsorships, and partnerships aligned with brand tone and goals
- Manage long-term sponsorship relationships, ensuring deliverables are met and identifying opportunities to enhance partnerships
- Conduct research and outreach for venues, vendors, and talent; evaluate incoming sponsorship and partnership inquiries
- Create and distribute comprehensive activation plans, including timelines, logistics, deliverables, and contingency planning
- Project manage cross-functional partners and vendors to ensure seamless execution and adherence to brand standards
- Own on-site execution, including logistics, setup, entertainment, gifting, and partner coordination
- Monitor pop culture and industry trends to identify timely and relevant activation opportunities
- Track budgets, manage invoices, and lead post-event reporting to capture results, learnings, and recommendations
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 50% travel to support activations and events
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in brand activations, event marketing, or hospitality for large-scale events (100+ attendees)
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
- Strong project management skills with hands-on experience executing live events
- Experience working with talent, sponsorships, and contract negotiations
- High detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting timelines
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and engage with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Flexibility to work non-standards hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in campaign planning, event strategy, or integrated marketing activations
